GOODBYE MMTUTS! 💀

It is time for a change, so today I will be saying goodbye to mmtuts!

➤ TLDR version:

I am not deleting, removing, or going away from the channel. But I AM saying goodbye to the name "mmtuts" since it no longer represents what I want to get out of my channel. For the past few years I have had periods with no uploads at all, and that is directly linked to me simply being burned out with ONLY making "MultiMedia TUTorialS (mmtuts)", so I have long wanted to change my name.

My new channel name will be "Dani Krossing" going forward, as it is a more personal name for a channel I wish to become a more personal extension of myself 🙂 I will be making the changes on the day 29/07/2020 (so 3 days after uploading this video).

I forgot to answer "these" questions in the video, so let me just do that here 😉

- "Why don't you just make another channel?"
For starters, I have already tried that as "plan A", and it's a fine plan if you don't make a living off of YouTube, but if you live off of YouTube it's a BAD plan. SEO wise on YouTube it makes more sense to re-brand than to re-create because it leads to faster success. Spending another 3 years re-building a new channel isn't what I wish to do. Another point is that my motivation for continuing mmtuts is low as is, because it is restricted to multimedia tutorials only. I explained this in the video, but some were really quick to post this question anyways, so I'll mention it again here 🙂

- "Just upload whatever you want to mmtuts, it's your channel"
By now my subscribers have been accustomed to "only tutorials", and because my channel name backs this up, I get a lot of comments from confused people who "doesn't understand why I uploaded this non-tutorial video" to mmtuts. Therefore again, a name change seems fit.
