Wolf Spider Hunting Mealworm

A short video showing the hunting behavior of an unknown species of wolf spider. These spiders don't build webs, and instead actively hunt for their prey on the ground and on the walls of buildings. Once prey has been located, the spider lunges forward at lightning speed and plunges its fangs into the prey, injecting neurotoxins. This particular species makes the most of its prey, feeding on it until all that's left is a broken apart, crusty shell.
