"Let's Talk About Epilepsy Surgery" is our new awareness campaign about pediatric epilepsy surgery. In this fourth webinar in our series, our founder Monika Jones discusses phase 1 evaluations with Dr. Elaine Wyllie, a pediatric neurologist at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Wyllie reviews when parents should consider surgery, and then introduces us to the many aspects of phase 1 evaluations including how MRIs are not 100% reliable when exploring lesions and malformations in the brain. Subtle or invisible lesions require further assessments including PET, SPECT, and MEG.

Will you be doing a segment on the different types of higher level testing, like the PET and Spect, etc?
