This is legendary footage. I remember seeing a documentary about this clip, the camera was stationed in the Himalayas intended to capture footage of snow leopards and this was a total surprise for the researchers who never thought Manul cats ranged that far or high up.

Even in a blurry, out of focus picture, you can clearly see those beady little eyes studying and examining the camera.

There are intelligences greater than man's at work inside a cats mind, and it could just be that the Pallas' cat is at the pinnacle of feline intelligence.

His head slowly comes up...he stares into the camera....and his head goes slowly back down....this cat's got great comic timing. I've never laughed so hard..!!
