Water transport is Way cheaper than railway..One ship can carry 40 trainloads of cargo.
Loading/unloading cargo containers and geopolitics cost will make project uneconomical.
On Suez, Egypt collects toll .Not doing anything for charity (neither for Chinese, certainly not for Indians)
