I was born 1955 my mum used to sing this to me, she nicknamed me moon.
This brought back wonderful memories of my beautiful mum.

My Great Grandfather had 500 acres in Edenton, NC, way back when....And when I was a young boy, he would bring me out on the porch after supper, we would sing this song together. It is one of my fondest memories...

Just had a scary half asn hour with my elderly husband, who may have just had a 3rd heart attack all be it a mild one.
OK now got him back up sitting on a chair, calm and improving.
