I just brought one last week and it looks really nice. Some of the features look difference to what is being shown in the video.
1. The boot light is not removable as a torch anymore.
2. Stering wheel is not rounded anymore > looks like a Sportline model.
3. Unbrella holder is not in the base of passanger seat anymore.
4. USB ports now come with USB C and its x2
5. New one is Wireless apple car and and Andriod Auto.
6. USB ports are easily mod by a 12V charger which is not a big deal for the back row.
7. does not come with the netting for the boot anymore.

Looks like a 2020-2021 model which is on sale!

Great review. Loving the amount of detail and useful info. I’d have one of these over a VW. Those removable seats a great!

This is a 2020 model. We have a 2021 model Karoq with an updated steering wheel and 2x USB C connection at the front. Also for the new model, they got rid of the removable torch and luggage nets.

I love the 2019 model low km demo I managed to pick up earlier this year (the list of positives is enormous). If you are into understated design, genuinely clever smarts, and bang for your bucks, the Karoq is hard to beat. The thing is, buying a new Skoda at the moment in Australia is a tough proposition. Parts shortages, brought about by global supply chain problems, means that new cars to the spec/colour you want are hard to find. Good luck in the search, I'm super happy with my little bear, but it is not a matter of simply saying here is what I want and here are the dollars.

Great review,
The Karoq, and Skoda's in general look like good cars, but Skoda have just tagged on average almost a $2, 000 increase to all their 2021 lineup, which IMO makes a lot of their clever features and what was impressive features for the price, perhaps not as impressive now?

Nice review. The face lift Karoq is coming in 2022 to be specific March 2022. So the question remains should you buy the existing model or wait for the facelift model taking into consideration increase in price.

I was very lucky to get one in 2021 in the Netherlands just before the price went sky-high. There are a couple of things that I'm happy about. I'm very fond of the infotainment system which offers apple car play which I use all the time. I also like the climate control, the comfortable seats, the boot space and the netting. Furthermore I like the full consumption (I have the 1.5 ltr 110 kW ACT engine) with is around 6 liters/65 miles. I don't have the removable boot light, the Kamera, lane assist, an umbrella but I don't mis those. In the two years I own the car I had two problems with it. I had to bring it in for service on the steering because it made a strange sound. The second problem was the key that didn't work anymore after the battery had been changed. It cost me € 80, 00 (about 128 dollars) to get it fixed. Would I buy the car again. I don't think so because at this moment a new one would cost me around € 41.000, 00 (that's $ 65.000, 00). By the way, I don't have any problems with the suspension.

This or a MG ZST erm no contest despite ZST frills this is a truly capable car and good buying without expensive options 👍

World wide there hasn't been one review of a Skoda that hasn't mentioned the ' umbrella '.

Love it.
For $ 33 k it’s a great package.
I’d spend more and buy the Karoq 140 tsi.

Can you do a kamiq vs Karoq comparison? Thanks

The rear suspension noise is a concern, especially since most of my driving is on bumpy country roads. May the Tiguan Life is a better bet for me on it's independent rear suspension

I thought the kamiq was competing with the cx-30 etc and the karoq was more of a watered down Tiguan in the same mid size segment.

Watching this for this guy 😉 and really good car review.

Isn’t Karoq underneath basically a Tiguan? In this video it says it’s based on T-Roc

Shkoda KaRoq. Not Sskoda Carrok. Does literally no car reviewr ever listen to the company actually pronounce it themselves?

Most over rated suv, compared with Citroen c4 picssso the Skoda is poorly designed
