A huge thanks to everybody at the Australian National Aviation Museum, one of Australia's premier aviation destinations, for showing us around the beautifully restored CAC Sabre, as well as taking us behind the scenes and showing us what may be the fuel tank used by the Red Baron himself!

The Australian CAC SABRE, was the best version of the sabre ever built and only the yanks would not acknowledge this.

I'm pretty sure my 95 year old dad (who worked for CAC for his working life) would have been involved and know a LOT about this. He's %100 on the ball mentally so if you've got any questions or would like to interview him I reckon he'd be ya' man! :)

Ok. At 2:30 did anybody else see the Tie Fighter pilot climbing into the cockpit? Do I need to go to the emergency room, or was he really there!!???

What did you do to that pretty sabre. The 'normal" sabres are good looking. Hundreds of them rotting at airfields all over pakistan.A bird worth saving. Two aircraft I once had the privilege of sitting in. An F86 and a Mirage III.The F86 cockpit is huge and spacious while the Mirage is not.
