To prevent losing your wallet and your crypto, it’s crucial that you write down your secret recovery phrase, preferably at least twice.

Spell all the words correctly, make sure they’re in the right order, and store two copies in separate secure locations offline.

You can use pen and paper, or even inscribe it into metal.

In Exodus Mobile, you can also save your secret recovery phrase in the cloud with the backup vault.

Never store your secret recovery phrase as a digital copy, like in a notes app or as a screenshot, because of the risk of being hacked.

Remember that your secret recovery phrase is worth as much as your wallet, so store it like any other valuable.

Why not just create a password protected PDF, could be created in Exodus, save it on a flashdisk (could be with password or fingerprint protection) and store it safely. I still would like to have a function that you need to have this flashdisk or NFC connected being able to connect private keys of hodl crypto to Exodus and only have trading crypto connected.
