I'm obsessed with the Tesla bot and other humanoid robots.
I simply cannot get enough robot content.
This was good. More, please.

Grohmann Engineering was founded by Klaus Grohmann in 1963. It moved its headquarters to Prüm in 1983. In November 2016, the privately held company agreed to be acquired by the American automotive company Tesla Motors. Just saying…

I would buy a Beta version at ~$50k in a heartbeat . I cherish the opportunity of training it ( and by implication the entire fleet) to be with me, like me, with my humor . As i age, i see it filling in for my progressive physical limitations and ultimately being a companion that I can take the mickey out of and expect similar ripostes. Commercially I imagine that the inevitable redundancy payments will be satisfied in Optimi- not cash. I get 4, or more, keep one for me and lease back the others to my previous employer. I get income and they get > 3x my productivity per bot. My Bot grows OTA. Priceless.

A very exciting time to be alive. I think using electromagnetic solenoids is very 20th though. Take a look at some of Bill Kaman’s medical patents and successful products.

Seems like Optimus will start scaling sooner (2024?) than the gen3 vehicle (2025?).
After Tesla, will Pepsi be the first customer?

The Tesla bot on display in a showroom in the Century City Plaza Mall is all plastic. It’s just a cool looking mannequin. It’s definitely not a “scrap” bot.

This iteration cannot be a Valet because that was not a defined spec in the first Market Requirements Specification ( MRS) but…………..by 2026?

Who is the customer? Who other than tesla will buy these specific bots? any ideas?

All right I like your video and I like what you guys are talking about I love it but I am questioning the whole ideology of a mechanical actuator it's not necessary we already have technology that will do it it's called magnetic muscle in other words you have a series of small magnetic actuators and you can build that series as big as you want to handle the foot pounds of pressure that you need so if you only need say per finger you only need 3 ft pounds of pressure you might only need 30 of the little tiny magnetic actuators say for a knee joint you might need 140 of them That's fine they're all the same they're all identical you just put them in series The only thing you got to worry about is how they pass each other and conform to the restraints that their environment is and keeping them cool and slippery

I think the Cybertrucks first deliveries should have Optimus drive the trucks on stage, and present them to Elon. 😀😃😄😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂😚😇.Go Tesla.

Topic suggestion: How do HW4 Tesla drivers help speed adoption of v12 beta video training for HW4? By running FSD 11 beta, or by turning off driver assistance and being really good drivers? See where I’m going with this? Thanks!

No, Elon said, the actuators not ready until Nov.

Energy biz has relatively low barriers to entry, going to be plenty real competition there I think.

The bot will build the bot. The first use case will be its own production line. Why wouldn’t they?

So the tesla bots will evolve? so did we, We didn't start making concrete but eventually we did. That took thousands of years. Imagine how fast the tesla bot with evolve?

If as Scott says he is hopeful we will see something in "12-18 months" it's clear there is no current mass production now. What an unfortunate title.
