So i joined the editing community back in june of 2017 (so fitting it happened in pride month ngl) so i did these two collab to celebrate my 5 years on yt!!
Now in this 5 years i've learned and grown a lot, there was heartbreak and sadness but most of all happiness and joy! Being part of this community made me who I am today and I wanna say thank you to y'all! TO every single person who ever bothered to comment my videos, to every one who talk to me, to people who gave me a chance in collab groups when i was just starting, to every one who helped and taught me, to those who left and to those who stay, to the friends I made along the way and i love with all my heart... from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!
Of course I couldn't not do 2 collabs that weren't about proving a point here!! I choose this two specific theme for one reason: I'm tired. I'm tired that every time we ship non straight pairings people will say we make everything gay (and that not everything has to be), i'm tired that people will literally come into edits and say i love their friendship, i'm tired that shows and movies keep on baiting us, i'm tired that the entertainment industry just keeps adding subtext and hints but then never actually delivering to also please the homophobes.
So the challenge for this collab was easy... use only canon queer couples but never use a kissing scene! I wanted to show that queer relationship ar more than just the kissing and sex! I wanted the hugs, the conversations, the laughter, the smiles, the soft looks...cause that's all what also makes a relationship. They aren't any less real or canon for us not showing them kissing, so why do people think that is that far fetched when we ship other queer pairings like in collab #2? What's the difference, huh?
