Sadly sometimes the Who fandom can be a bit rough with division and anger towards the show and one another.
Then a masterpiece like this comes along to remind us of all that is good and wonderous in the rich trapesty of the whole Whoniverse. It brings joy and light and is so uplifting. In the words of Nine. Fantastic!

Its funny to me that there are those that hate Chibnalls era and I've not been shy in criticising it myself from time to time but Thirteens words are used quite a lot here as they seem to reflect the hopeful and wonderous outlook of Who in general. No matter your thoughts on it, maybe thats one credit in its favour, that it has a postive outlook that encapsulates the message of Doctor Who. Living hopefully and waiting to be surprised.

I love how there are clips from stories that aren’t considered to be masterpieces in here. Namely, “Love and Monsters”, which is a story that starts out very strong and is a love letter to the fandom and just a great experience. It gets weird with the monster and the resolution. I know that it’s a monster designed by a kid, but it just didn’t work for most people.

Using a sound clip from such a divisive story shows that the person/people that made this video really love Doctor Who and can see the good even in weakly received stories.

I LOVE the way you spliced the 'universe will suprise you' to thematically tie the video together and to encapsulate the overwhelming wanderlust of Doctor Who, while also transitioning into a smooth ominous tease for the 60th. Also, I thought inspired touch to use title cards from all the theme variations. Very well done, my friend.

UGH. This was so BEAUTIFUL!! This is what our show is about, guys! The journey, the friends, the families, the highs and the lows. That's what's so compellingly beautiful, and it's why we keep coming back to it. Even after all the ups and downs, we keep coming back to Doctor Who because of how much heart this show has.

This is just amazing. I loved the original (and watched it so many times that I can tell the differences in clips haha!) This new version is somehow even better! Making it all wide-screen is a great move, are the classic clips just punched in or is there some vfx trickery on some to make them wider? They look like they've been upscaled so well
And the choices of new clips are fab! It's just perfect!
