Paddock-Scale Strategies to Protect Vulnerable Soils from Erosion

BCG Senior Research Manager, Dr. Yolanda Plowman, speaks on utilising paddock-scale strategies to build drought resilience of vulnerable soils in low rainfall cropping and grazing systems. This presentation demonstrates how Mallee growers can integrate a number of locally validated practices to improve and maintain groundcover as a means to protect soil from wind erosion throughout the year and ultimately increase resilience to major adverse events such as drought.
