Love how 11700 has higher watts, and performance, but still runs a little cooler than the 11700k

I must admit that the results are not what I expected!

Lets talk about Watch Dogs Legion. The Low 1% FPS and the Average FPS using the NON K version is higher than when using the K version.

Moreover what is also very interesting is that the NON K version ends up drawing more Watts. In the case of Watch Dogs Legion the NON K version is drawing +30 Watts.

I was "certain" that the results would be the exact opposite!

This doesn't make any sense. Why does 11700 outperform 11700k even though it has lower base and boost clocks? And why the hell 11700 draws more power than 11700k?

Botched test, Asus TUF is using unlocked Tdp with APE on or on auto, gigabyte board isn't. Therefore the 11700 appears to be better than the 11700k.

I have B560m-a motherboard which is cpu better i buy to it???? Non K or K version??? 11thgen.

That is simple . The power limit of Non K version is unlimited, thats why the cpu become more powerfull than K version. The power limit of the K version can be clocked at 125w.

i cant uderstand how you got such low temps. I have 11700k and Cooler Master MasterAir MA620M and my temps go to 100C with stock auto boost under load (when it goes to 5 Ghz). Also i cannot understand how people get those stable 4.6 GHz when its stock clock is 3.6 and auto boost goes to 5Ghz every time in my case. I dont know how to limit auto boost to be not higher than 4.6.

Can any one tell me why my cpu usage keep spiking to 90% when i load in to something or anything? i have 11700f and 8 cores 4.4ghz and the usage just always so high even in csgo it goes to 70% and league 30%

This 11700K is hot as hell, I’m getting 86~87C during stress tests like cinebench and stuff, sometimes 90C, even with a Noctua D15s. Is this temp normal for this CPU or is it too hot?

this test is not done using stock settings, otherwise you would not be getting a core i7 11700 that consumes more power than the 11700k plus different motherboards and all, idk what you were trying to prove here mate!!!
