Super Smash Bros Melee - Did You Know Gaming? Feat. Gaming Historian

With rumors of a Melee HD coming to Nintendo Switch, Did You Know Gaming takes a look at some facts, secrets, Easter eggs and history of Super Smash Bros Melee! SSBM was developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Gamecube. The game was preceded by Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 (N64), and followed by Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii, as well as Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. This series is a crossover of Nintendo characters, including Mario, Donkey Kong, Link from The Legend of Zelda, Samus from Metroid, Ness from Earthbound, Captain Falcon from F-Zero, Yoshi, Kirby, Star Fox and Pikachu and Jigglypuff from Pokemon among others. Through our analysis of the game, its gameplay and its beta, we hope to show some of the more interesting facts we found and have its history explained.

Did you know that Shogo Sakai was one of the lead composers for Melee. Sakai also worked on the entire soundtrack of Mother 3, and you can really hear some of the similarities in the instruments he uses in both soundtracks.
