You can force a controller to work with big picture mode in steam. Add a non-steam game to your library, then enter big picture mode, go to your library, then to non-steam games, go to the game, change controller input to steam input, and change the template to regular gamepad. Then launch the game, and it should force the controller to work

Thank you so much, that was very quick and easy. I was trying to do it the old fashion way to establish Bluetooth a USB connection and the audio output kept trying to broadcast through my controller XD.

dualsense has really good latency even through bluetooth, 1-2 ms vs .2-.4 wired, very nice

Had to put my windows back to factory settings and suddenly my ps5 controller didn't connect over bluetooth. This worked for me :D Thanks for the vid!
