As the premier multilateral intergovernmental body, the United Nations has a unique responsibility to safeguard the Jewish people and combat antisemitism whenever and wherever it may arise.

There has been some progress. UNESCO, together with the WJC and other partners has made significant efforts to combat antisemitism through education. The UN Holocaust program is also committed to advancing Holocaust remembrance.

Join us on November 17 for an event on the role of the United Nations in combating antisemitism, including an address by Katharina von Schnurbein, the European Commission's Coordinator for combatting antisemitism.
