I purchased a set of Wuesthoff knives in Germany in 1986. After all these years of constant use, and sometimes abuse, they look and perform as well as they did when I first brought them home. The cleaver will pound through bone, then slice and dice with the precision of a chef's knife.

The first knife #5 (Gladiator) should be the "Dalstrong Obilterator"! The knife is beautiful & impressive, but really should be for meat & bone (aka Bone Chopper) The knife weighs 2.9 pounds😬 !!! You can but most likely will not cut or chop vegetables with this knife. The cook-chef will be required to possess strong arms & hand w/ good strength. Plus the video mentions that the blade needs sharpening often however the specs on the steel is good! To me that translate to lower grade steel or problem w/ the edge! Or the narration needs to be edited. Bone chopping does not need a razor sharp blade!! On Amazon $179.00 for this knife, I expect more. My opinion, for most cooks this is a NO!; Get a 8" chef knife (Wushtof, Henkels, Zwilling, MAC, Shi Ba Zi Zuo Chinese cleaver, ect!!! If you do a process beef or pig often or work at a BBQ restaurant then try it if you want. I feel the handle could be a better design & a pro chef's input on the handle would help.

Number 1 isn't named the Gladiator, that's the line. It is named the Obliterator. You've listed the same knife twice one is just black. Shadow black and gladiator are two different finishes on the Obliterator cleaver. Looks like you guys aren't paying attention.
