Two Notes C.A.B. M settings & sound check w/Victory V4 Sheriff + BOSS GT1000 & Line6 HXeffects

Hello again guys - hope you’re well!

Ok, it’s a noisy one - C.A.B. M template for Marshall style preamp - in this case a Victory V4 Sheriff.

The beginning of this video runs through the settings of this new C.A.B. M template & then I have a run through about 15 cab sims using duplicates of the template.. an interesting experiment.

Run through includes:
Marshall jubilee, standard & vintage
Peavy EVH5150 & Browny5150
Prime A
Suhr
& Mesa Boogie to name a few...

Which do you prefer?

Hi, I am also running a sheriff v4, with a cab m, but in mono. I was wondering if you have done a comparison between using IR's in the hx effects or the boss, and the cab m? The reason I ask is that I think the cab m is good but I really don't like using the app for it, and the button layout isn't that straightforward for me either, so basically I am thinking about another solution. I am wondering, can I live without the power amp emulation of the two notes? Although I did actually manage to achieve an almost clean sound with the cab m and the sheriff last night, with the power amp cranked and the volume on channel 1 on the sheriff backed right off, which was pretty handy! Thanks.

May I ask how you are powering this setup, are you using the individual plugs or a dedicated pedal power supply? Thanks.
