Daniel John Bedingfield, born on December 3, 1979, is a prominent New Zealand-British singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He gained significant fame with his debut studio album "Gotta Get thru This" released in 2002, which was a major success in the UK. The album featured three UK number one hits: the title track "Gotta Get thru This," "If You're Not the One," and "Never Gonna Leave Your Side." It sold over 1.6 million copies in the UK alone. Following this success, Bedingfield released his second album "Second First Impression" in 2004.

Apart from his singing career, Bedingfield has also been involved in television, serving as a judge on "The X Factor New Zealand" in 2013. His talents extend to songwriting for other artists, showcasing his versatility in the music industry. Additionally, he has ventured into acting, particularly in West End theatre in London, UK.

In terms of his early life, Daniel Bedingfield was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and attended Lynfield College. He comes from a family of musicians, being the elder brother of fellow singers Natasha Bedingfield and Nikola Rachelle, who have also made their marks in the music industry.
