Deimos animal capture & conservation guide | Warframe

Capturing enemies doesn't have to be difficult. Grab the right gear and follow a few simple steps and you'll have all the tags and critters you need for everything in the new update.

If you're having difficulty finding a certain animal, use the pheremones from Son or come back at a different time as some critters are only available during a specific worm cycle.

UPDATE: As of Deimos Arcana today, capture ratings now DO affect rewards. Good captures will give double tags, and Perfect captures give Triple. Achieve this by capturing the animal as quickly as possible, with a minimum of fear or harm coming to it. Ivara remains an ideal choice for this.

I've started using conservation to farm Fortuna standing and I've just found out about the echo lure technique removing the unwanted track locations. That's sure to improve my hunts. Very helpful guide.

Great guide! I always use the Free Roam method and fly around the edge with the tranq rifle equipped because then the animals glow a bit and this makes it easier to spot them

You can use the echo lure in your archwing. Just dont pull out the echo lure until you deploy your wings.

Very helpful video.
But I've got a question: You know the three options for capturing an animal? The tranquilizer, the lure and the smell or idk what that is. They all have those shortcut numbers on them, 1, 2 and 3. But for some reason my tranquilizer (and fishing spear) does not have that 1 up there, witch means I have to take them from my consumables everytime I want to change them. Do you know what could it be?
