The best target for a Red Rider BB gun is a Pringle’s can. The BB’s will go through one side, but not powerful enough to go out the back. So you just poor them out and reuse them. Learned that at my Grandfather’s farm in Belleville.

You indeed brought back some old memories. I had friends that had the red Ryder lever action BB gun. I had a pump action BB gun. We often shot in the garage during the winter. And included were those little plastic army men LOL. And of course pop cans!
From there I went to firearms. But many years later, I found myself mentoring troubled young boys. It was then that I returned to air rifles. Specifically a break barrel Nitro piston pellet rifle. That renewed my interest in air guns and I went from there to PCPs.
Anyhow, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I've the "Chief AJ" special edition. Bought it at a discount from the chief (the head of the National Slingshot Association at that time), when I was his 2nd in command, as well as Florida state representative for the organization. It has the big loop handle, as in the old TV series with Chuck Conners "The Rifleman".

Depending on the amount of detail you want on your patch you might want to add single pellet symbols around the outside of your patch image to show the different types and sizes of pellets you shoot. 22dom, 25dom, 35dom, 177dom, 177 hollowpoint, 22 hollowpoint, 35 cal hollowpoint, 50 cal hollowpoint etc. These would show your range of shot and support.

I went onto a Daisy Powerline 880, then a Crosman Nitro Piston after my special edition Chief AJ model of the Red Ryder, and I've been subscribed to your channel since I've since purchased a Gamo Swarm Maxxim and an Air Venturi Avenger .22.
Would you be reviewing the Air Venturi Avenger BULLPUP anytime soon? I know that you favor "bullpups", as long as they have the minimum length barrel
you prefer.

My parents would never buy me one I got the famous you'll shoot your brother's eye out lol later I got a Crossman pump master.. now I'm into igt piston guns but my 7 yr old daughter cant handle them... soooo off to Wal-Mart we went and picked up a red ryder . Now I get to shoot with my little one . Awesome iconic gun !

Dr.Russ I think I can be of some assistance. I just so happen to be an artist. I've been drawing & painting since I was three years old and specialize in letters, in fact I've wanted to pursue a career in corporate logo design for a long time now however with so many interests life has taken me in a million directions.
