No matter how much money you have that old money will always look down on you so it's best to just be comfortable with your wealth and to hell with whoever think otherwise.

That home is a treasure trove of interesting things that were owned by fascinating people !

Our family visited the mansion on Evacuation Day. We really enjoyed our tour and the staff was especially helpful in accommodating our daughter, who uses a wheelchair to get around. I highly recommend a visit.

The whole story of her becoming rich was that she married rich. I love this channel, though.

Love it. What a house, what a story. Love from Ireland. I’m obsessed with beautiful architecture and travel to many countries to see and enjoy it. I’m travelling to Seville Spain and Cordoba Spain. Can’t wait! ❤❤lWe have beautiful scenery but not much architectural heritage. We were plundered and invaded and as they say our towns and cities were raised to the groun.

I still would have liked to know a little more about her moving from poverty I mean because she had to do something to move to New York. But the divorce was something else because you were stigmatized if you got a divorce in those days especially a woman she was Brave and she was thoughtful and I really like her I'm going to look her up

It's a beautiful 😍❤️ Mansion. I have visited it many times... mostly for jazz concerts on the outdoor grounds.

Burr challenged Hamilton to a duel. Pistol duels were recently outlawed in NYC so they had to ferry over to Jersey and had the duel right at the shore.

Please look into Elizabeth Gloster (sp?) And Remsen house, previously the Hamilton club. She was richest black woman in us before civil war. A great story, also up from poverty.
