When they say “this winter” it could also imply next year, not just the last 4 months of 2022. Just like how crisis core stated it’ll release this winter, they’ll likely go into Jan / Feb 2023 with the direct

I'm desperately hoping for Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, honestly. I know it's been a rumor for years, but I really do hope they do this. Skyward Sword on Switch plays excellently.

Feels like it's been quite sometime since last direct, this should be fun. I would like a Windwaker & Galaxy 2 port, or some older Pokemon Games like Emerald.

I could see that new Fire Emblem game getting announced here. There was one in September 2018 that announced both Luigi's Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. And then Luigi's Mansion came out holiday the following year and Animal Crossing came out March of 2020.

Probably the best ending to any of your videos thus far. Love meta jokes, and the sudden cutoff was perfect.
Also, really hoping on Botw2 title drop and release date. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports.... not expecting those honestly, but if that is a thing, I'd expect them to come out probably November, and then BOTW2 news to be saved for last. If any of those are a thing, they'd probably all be included in a Zelda specific section at the end, honestly. But again, I highly doubt those ports are gonna happen at all.

I actually think it is very possible we will get some Scarlet and Violet info in this direct, especially as it is THE holiday release and that is a focus for this direct. As for other things I think we will get a new Bayonetta 3 trailer, maybe a new look at the Switch version of Persona 5 Royal (I hope so!) And of course the big one: BotW 2 I think we will get a trailer AND title though release date ie just a maybe

Also in regards to BOTW2’s name: I feel like it probably has to be related to something vital to the plot which is why they haven’t said it. Im thinking it has to be something that would give plot points away and they want the hype to be IMMENSE the few weeks/months prior to release

I'll say it once and I'll say it again - Nintendo this gen has been an expert at shaking things up JUST enough to be unpredictable while remaining consistent. It's like they are written with an RNG algorithm that gives them just a slightly different seed each time. It's like they have a pattern somewhere, but no matter how many permutations you try, you can't catch the shiny.
