I feel like this video helped me more than other booster box games to realize just how goddamn expensive these packs are. If I can get a borderless phyrexian altar for the price of 3 packs, and seeing how these packs can turn out, it really keeps me away from opening these packs. Gonna love picking me up some singles though

In my commander pod there is this one dude that we've concluded is basically a witch. Whenever he just feels like buying a random pack to crack, he always pulls whatever chase card has the most value in the set at the time. We still jokes that he is bound to pull Teferi, Hero of Dominaria no matter what set he is opening, because he ended up pulling 4 or 5 of them just from opening random one-off Dominaria packs a few years ago.
Of course, yesterday, he treated himself to one pack of DM 2022 and opened an Imperial seal.

He is still the only guy that I would count on MAYBE earning his money back at the RIDICULOUS price of this set!

There’s also some value in the token slot. Specifically the cat dragon tokens and the egg tokens. Both have been around $5 each.

First off, that first box is the most value I've ever seen from xM22, insanity. Secondly, I'm jealous.

Only a few packs in and it reminds me why I love prof for these. I only ever see the big spoilers and chase cards, which makes me think "I should get a box." Then I see how many "worthless" cards I don't want nor need are in the box and decide to just buy singles. THANK YOU for wasting your money, not mine.

I picked up some of these packs, cracked em and got pretty terrible pulls...which is my luck. But what bothered me the most is that these cards feel WORSE in quality than the UPS I make Proxies at.

Nothing drives home why, unless you're drafting, buying singles is the only sensible thing to do better than your second pack in a $335.00 (seriously?) box having a whopping $1.25 of value between the two rares.
