The thing I remember the most about the circle pad pro is that it works with resident evil revelations! I read that from a Nintendo power magazine. I always wanted one since then, even after it came out for PS4!

I literally bought the circle pad pro for my blue 3DS for Metal gear solid and resident evil revelations. This was a throooowww back that meant the world to me. I honestly forgot the circle pad pro existed !

I still have my monster hunter circle pad pro sitting around somewhere. It’s awesome but somewhat convoluted. The pad is located where the right shoulder button should be so it’s more of an index finger control rather than both thumbs. Really nice once you get the hang of it.

I bought one when Monster Hunter Generations first came out, else you had to claw grip the 3DS like the PSP. Came in really clutch.

It is a great accessory, I bought one for the 3DS and then when I changed to a 3DS XL I bought the XL version because for games like Metal Gear Solid 3D, Re Revelations or Monster Hunter it is a delightful accessory.

Btw that 3DS has a aftermarket shell. You can tell because of the black paint gradient on the front

I don't have my CPP or launch 3DS anymore, but this thing was dang near necessary to deal with the camera in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Monster Hunter Generations. Trying to play them without the Circle Pad and extra buttons was a huge pain in the butt. It also made Kid Icarus Uprising a lot more palatable as a lefty.

I remember mh3u always asking me about circle pad and never knew what it was talking about, many years later I found out about this attachment and MAN do I wish I had known sooner, Water combat would have been so much nicer

This thing made Monster Hunter 4U WAAAYY more playable for me.

The 3DSxl version is laughably huge. My friend had one, and it's alarmingly close in size to my Wii U's gamepad.

I’m so happy I bought my ds and 3Ds consoles before the price boom…I miss my original I got on launch day though…I sold it and bought it back a few years later

I’ve also been looking for a reasonably priced 3DS luckily about a year ago on my birthday, I found one on eBay that was going for $89 and it was a flame red 3DS just like I wanted and everything was with it stylist & charger and then it even came to me pre-modded and had a 64 GB of storage SD card inside.

Still have my 3DS models including both the NES & SNES models in great condition too. Circle Pad Pro came in handy for games like Luigis Mansion & RE Revelations. Playing the 1st Luigis Mansion without it sucks but with the Circle Pad it is pure perfection, of course the downside is that it requires a battery but still works well

I had a 3ds xl with circle pad pro, worked great for Monster Hunter until I got a New Zelda 3ds with the mini stick and extra back buttons.
