III% has nothing to do with 2 wheels or MCs. There might be III%ers in a club but 97% of the III%ers don't ride and don't let people know they are one. 1% and 99% are riders. III%ers are a different world.

My grandfather was in the army during ww2. He had a tatoo on his arm that had the original thirteen colony flag with 3% inside the circle. Family are members the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution.

This is very interesting to me. I'm English. Born in England and raised in Canada. 90% of any history I learned was about Canada. We touched on some of the US history but never into any real detail. I've been around motorcycles and bikers most of my life. I don't know if I've ever seen a 3% patch. But I'm also not the type of guy that's gonna go up on someone and start asking what all their patches mean. Even my close friends that are patched members. I don't ask questions about their club. I'm not a part of it so it's not my business to ask. I highly recommend that's what people need to do. Don't ask questions about something that doesn't involve you. Especially in the biker world.

As a Threeper, AND the founder of an independent, 99 club (that associates with many 1% clubs).... i have NEVER been hassled for the III% patch on my cut. I live and ride in the PNW, so most have knowledge about what it means, those that dont, ask respectfully and give me the thumbs up.
one MAY be both (biker AND Threeper), but they are NOT the same thing. i live in the middle of "militia-land", and have never head of a "III% Biker Club".
