As an auto resolver, I feel called out. I'll be taking my Ratling doomstack/Dwarf doomstack/Celestial dragon crossbowman doomstack/Sisters of avelorn doomstack and sitting in the corner until I win.

Typical campaign for me
Early Game: Perfectionist (Wants to look at units)
Mid Game: Veteran and the occasional corner camp
Late Game: Speed running and noob when tired

It really bothers me when the game doesn’t set up the units in the order that they’re displayed in the unit cards. This is usually only a problem with artillery for me, but it’s very annoying when you have three artillery pieces for example and the first one in the order of the unit cards is actually the second one on the battlefield, the second one is the third one and the last is the first one. It makes no sense and is very infuriating. On top of that they then sometimes decide to rearrange themselves in the middle of battle, even though I only told them to move forward

Those speed runners really make me scratch my head when I read in the various forums "Yeah I play on very hard and I have the empire wiped out by turn 30" and I'm like "HOW??! Are you just not taking any losses in every battle?!" I mean I can maybe take a couple provinces by turn 30 depending on how many enemy armies are still up, but not wipe out one of the biggest factions by then lol.

Nah The LegendofTotalWar one is utterly wrong. He'd definitely hide the whole army in the tree and rack up thousands of kills with the lord.

What I tend to do is organize my units in the hotbar at the bottom of the screen and then select them on the bar and place them according to their position on the bar but keeping in mind their unit type. So lords and heroes are at the left most side, infantry to the right of that, then missles.
I even go so far as to make sure that the units on the hotbar are positioned according to where I actually place them. If I have 4 units of Cavalry and I want two on each flank then I'll make sure the cavarly on the left flank is also left on the hotbar compared to the right flank cavalry who'll be on the right side of the hotbar.
