Santa Visits UC San Diego Health's Tiniest Patients

Santa Claus came to town to spread holiday cheer in UC San Diego Health’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Jacobs Medical Center. Each family received a gift and an opportunity to take a photo with St. Nick. Families can spend months in the vulnerable environment of the NICU, which specializes in the treatment of babies born prematurely, some weighing less than a pound, or with health issues that require hospitalization. Santa’s annual visit helps families get into the holiday spirit during this challenging time.
