While speaking on the Haryana assembly election results, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on October 9 praised the BJP for its spectacular performance. He said, 'The way the BJP has fought the elections is excellent…we have to admit that BJP won a seemingly lost battle…they have a great system and management…' Further speaking on the Congress’ defeat in the Haryana elections, Raut said, 'INDIA alliance couldn’t be formed in Haryana as Congress thought it would win the election on its own and they didn’t want to share power…. Hoodaji and other Congress leaders thought they are winning… If SP, AAP or small players like Shiv Sena had fought together (with Congress), the result would have been different…'
