Welcome to Formula DRIFT, the Official home of Formula Drift on Youtube. Judged on execution and style, rather than who finishes the course in the fastest time, Drifting is where Action Sports meet Motorsports, and is often compared to the freestyle nature of skateboarding and motocross.

Great call on the OMT by the judges in the battle with Adam and Odi, would have been very easy to miss over that

Love how much more comfortable Adam is with the E36.🔥

I absolutely love how both drivers get out and chat with each other while waiting on the results. So many other Drift Series does that and I absolutely love it, to see the camaraderie…..

I've gotta say something. Freddy used to bother me, no emotion, robotic and kind of freakish. It wasn't a bad thing, just felt like I was watching AI drive. Now? Omg I'm fucking in love with his driving. Exciting, thrilling, fun. Just amazing. So glad he is in a different head space. Win or lose, the guys a freak and I'm totally here for it!!

Freddy stepped up his driving to a level we all know he CAN go to, but doesn't go to often. That battle with Conner was phenomenal and some of the best drifting battles we've seen in years.

Mate, hearing Odi in his post event interview sounded like he is really emotional and with good reason. I hope the Bakchis family are surrounded with love and support after the passing of his dear Mother In-law recently. What a tough season for them are with them ❤

Another excellent event! Great job FD. Really seems like they've listened to the criticism and have made impactful changes. Kind of crazy that the highest American on the leaderboard is Sorenson in 6th place.

I love minowa and I like how every round you can see a tire fire on his car.

I think OMT was the right call in the final, agree with that one judge.

I think Adam’s and Odis OMT should have been OMT again. So messy with a dual in complete and then judging lead vs chase that imo was also messy asf. Good driving all around today tho, always love this round. Connor and Aasbø’s battles were nuts

I love that Hurst uses a XLR. Even though all the changes to it just make it a corvette in XLR clothes. Which is still cool. The chassis are the same minus the suspension. The stock XLR uses some magnetic shock that are only on Cadillacs. Possibly only the XLR. But Corvette parts are basically bolt on barts

Sadly couldn't make it due to personal circumstances, looks like it was an amazing event!

I think you could've done OMT on the OMT Odi Adam run as that was pretty messy but I like the judging on this front to back vs other stops so far this year, seems they are dialing it in nicely

I don't know what changed this year, but the judging has been excellent. Huge improvement from previous years without a doubt.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones weve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

Great job Adam, Odin had great lead that looked tough to follow with angle. Crazy round ONE MORE TIME. WISH A 2ND JUDGE WENT ADAMS WAY

I think LZs Leads must be fun for the other drivers. Chasing him at those angles

1:32:25 Adam uses left foot braking on run-up to brake boost and prep a jump, interesting technique, tried it on the sim, feels nice.

Personally, I think OMT should have been the call for the final and maybe “JUST” a slight edge towards odi. Both leads were good but the chase’s were off on both sides into 1. Practically the same distance apart through 2 into. But I feel as odi was a bit better into the outer zone in 3 and James being a bit shorter on the line. None the less great event. Congrats to James. ( I promise I’m not trying to start a whole debate )
