The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump is the biggest Secret Service crisis in decades. How did a 20-year old gunman climb a rooftop with a rifle and fire shots at Trump less than 150 yards away?

WSJ spoke with two former Secret Service agents who explained what went wrong in Butler, Pennsylvania, during Trump’s rally.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but based on the failures at hand, it all seems suspect and convenient.
I mean, if you're a sniper protecting an area, the first thing do is take perimeter at all the surrounding vantage points. High areas like rooftops or a water tower in the immediate area are ideal. Then, Factor in some of the goofballs that were on detail and it seems like a probability for a let down. And all that seems real convenient like I mentioned.

I noticed a lot more women in the SS these days...I wonder if that had anything to do with their lapse in responsibility and judgement.

I wonder why he kept shooting even tho he missed. Did he know that snipers saw him or did he already know and tried to do a suicide mission taking down as many civillians as possible?

Three days before the presidential election, Trump was speaking at a rally in Reno, Nevada when a man in the crowd screamed "gun", causing Trump to be rushed off stage by security and the man to be tackled by surrounding members in the crowd.
After the scene was cleared and identified as safe, Trump returned to the stage minutes later and finished the speech without incident...

in Mandan, North Dakota, Gregory Lee Leingang stole a forklift from an oil refinery and attempted to drive it toward the presidential motorcade while Trump was visiting to rally public support. After the forklift became jammed within the refinery, he fled on foot and was arrested by the pursuing police. While interviewed in detention, Leingang admitted his intent to murder the president by flipping the presidential limousine with the stolen forklift, to the surprise of authorities, who suspected he was merely thieving the vehicle for personal use. Leingang pleaded guilty to the attempted attack, stealing the forklift, related charges and several other unrelated crimes on the same day. Consequently, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. His defense attorney noted a "serious psychiatric crisis"...

Look at the map that they gave you they said that the secret service agent snipers that were on the roof could not see the shooter because he was behind the tree but if the shooter was behind the tree making it impossible or near impossible to get an accurate shot for the sniper team then that means the shooter would not have been able to kill the guy that was diagonal from Trump. But if you have somebody shooting at Trump from the window of the building next to it which is perfectly aligned with where the bullet came from then the trajectory would make more sense but they can't have that because if the shooter was over on the left side of the building then the secret service sniper team could have seen him. There's a whole video breaking down the trajectory of the bullet the position of the shooter why there's so many channels saying he was on the left or the right side of the roof. It gets really interesting. There's an audio recording of three bullets being fired off before Thomas crook fired his weapon in the audio recording you can hear three shots without an echo, then you hear Thomas Matthew crooks shots fire off with a echos. I don't know how to explain that but one explanation could possibly be that the first three shots that were fired were from inside the building with the window and that contained The echoes that you would have heard otherwise.

Wait.... Having DHS flunkies instead of USSS agents for most of the personnel didn't register on your list?
