I lived in Flagstaff from 1976-1985. I went to elementary and junior high here. My father was a missionary to the Navajo Indians out on the reservation near Leupp (Grand Falls Indian Mission). He dug wells for them, fixed their cars, repaired their generators, etc. But he died at a young age, we moved away and now it's been nearly 40 years. I am looking at going back. I have lived and traveled all over the world: 25 countries, five continents, but my heart keeps tugging at me to go back to Flagstaff. It really is home for me. I grew up there. My dad is buried there. I miss it. I miss the Navajos.

I was born in Flagstaff in 1974 while my dad was an NAU student. Beautiful town. Every time I visit it’s like coming home.

Watching from Guyana 🇬🇾. Man I love this video. A Peace Corps volunteer once told me about spending time in Flagstaff. I could have only imagined what he had told me about the place then... but this video has just enriched my little prior knowledge of the town.
He did mention about the almost perfect climate...
Thumbs up...

We vacationed in northern Arizona several years ago and used Flagstaff as our base. The city was very nice and we often fondly reminisce about our stay. Hopefully we can return and rediscover the beauty of the area.

Totally considering a move there from Washington state! I love it up here but winters are too gloomy! I need sunshine

Flagstaff is definitely a Big Sky city. NAU is in the Big Sky Conference. Good video of the city and area.

Yes, beautiful landscape. Just keep in mind that Mount Humphrey's is a VOLCANO that erupted violently in the 1200s and we found pumice stones 140 miles away at Keams Canyon, on the Hopi Indian Reservation. There are earthguake tremors there at Flagstaff in modern times, too.
