This type of information should be readily and easily available in lecture format everywhere and not just in expensive classrooms.

Could you please do a whole walkthrough of landmarks, structures, nerves, arteries, veins, et al. from literally that superior view of the transverse cut section you have there of the encephalon and its contents ????
That would be awesome as we don’t all have access to these cadavers. And same would be cool of a sagittal view and even coronal view of you guys pointing out all visible structures / vessels / et al.

It always hits me while watching these shorts, this was a living human being like myself one time. It really makes me think about my mortality.

I've had multiple surgeries on my eyes for strabismus where the opthalmologist strengthened or weakened the muscles of my eyes so they don't turn in anymore by moving where a muscle was attached. Could you do a short video showing what muscles those are and where they're moved? I'm fascinated by the process.

Everything on this channel is so morbid to me but i cant stop watching becuase im a sucker for anatomy and biology. Also, do have all these anatomy terms locked in your memory, or do you need refreshers sometimes when making these videos?

Do a segment showing how the eye can rotate. The muscle combinations the eyes have that enable image stabilization and gyro type movements.

I love these shorts! 30 years ago I did a yearlong gross anatomy/neuroanatomy course with hands on dissection. The first solo piece I did was separating the trapezius on the back…. Terrifying! “Good job, intern Donnelly!” Yay! The senior anatomist used to carry a different spinal bone in his lab coat pocket every day. You had to reach in, feel the articulations and guess the level of bone +/- 1 level! (i.e. it’s thoracic 10/T10….) and you’d win candy if correct 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤ ☠️ ☠️

Both muscles are innervated by the oculomotor nerve, which are part of the parasympathetic nervous system. I find this a bit contradictory cause they wake us up and help us to pay attention to things. Someone on this?
