Today a fun one from the IMO long list. Solve for x on 4^x+6^x=9^x. This one involves the golden ratio and a fine solution :D Enjoy! =)

Help me create more free content! =)

Hello Flamy, might remember me from my comment at your Last video . I've told that I will tell you my results at the physics nationale olympiad. Turns out I am first place(even I dont know how I did it), thank you for the support and keep making videos like this pappy.

Honestly, I love watching these IMO videos. I learn so many neat little tricks from them and I have fun doing them myself. I also like the way you explain every single step no matter how insignificant.
Great video as always :D (except the _interesting_ meme)

The intro inspired me to prove the riemann hypothesis

step 1: subtract 4^x
step 2: factor difference of squares
2^x * 3^x = (3^x+2^x)(3^x-2^x)
definitely not diophantine, at least.

8:43 "But I don't think someone cares"
Oh yes I do!
Personally I prefer the arguments of functions to be as simple as possible. So I like ln(3)-ln(2) more than ln(3/2).

It's a bit tough to see the trick for this one, but it seems way too easy for IMO. Like I'm sure IMO participants would immediately realize that such an equation is solvable in a closed form only if it can be converted to a quadratic.

I like these videos but I am not a van of using log for natural log. I've always learned ln for natural log and log for log base 10.

Of course the mayh is the same but still

The video was great until I suddenly had to bleach my eyes out after seeing 0:05
