Bad omens are starting to happen within Fontaine's region and Navia's headquarters place in Poisson is the latest one to be struck by it. Traveler and Paimon join up with Neuvillette to address this emergency and the only way to find a solution is to get answers from Furina the Hydro Archon herself. When things didn't go easily, the whole Fontaine characters crew devised a creative solution - putting Furina on the stand to face trial in court. All these are happening in the midst of the huge Prophecy, and even outside forces such as the Hexenzirkel member N (Nicole), Arlecchino (Fatui), and Tartaglia's master Skirk. Ngl this archon quest made me cry when Focalors said final goodbye to Neuvillette and the bubble touched furina and the screen appears like "Thank you, Furina. Please live like a peaceful human, just like we wished to." Ah i cried hard.. Furina's past is really sad and the fact that she tried to keep her identity a secret but in the trail she failed and she was crying 😭

There is one thing we can safely assume and that is Fontainian, after being purified by Neuvillette, still have their ability to stay in water for a very long time considering that they managed to hold their breath for a very deep swim

Inazuma and Raiden's were awesome, Sumeru and Nahida's were sublime, but these ones are trascendental. What an incredibly imaginific vision for this screenplay.

⁠​⁠My Overall Opinion of the Archon Quest, it was the best in one yet from the Genshin Team. However,


Childe was placed into the quest for character development (Although Barely besides him encountering the Whale). I felt like Childe was introduced for the SOLE REASON to introduce SKIRK into the story to grant lore bombs to Neuvillette. Arlechinno is introduced just to demonstrate her overall power like every other Harbinger by being more involved in the story while giving extra backstory specifically to Lyney and Lynette. Wriothesley’s arc of building the Ship displayed his care yet is practically meaningless as the flood was solved

Its overall good but the fatui part of the story felt underdeveloped. Like childe he didnt talk to us or skirk and then the knave said he went to cryo nation after getting yeeted into the portal(?)

Is it just me or does this Archon Chapter contains so many biblical references. The end scene is the flooding, Noah's Ark. God Focalor created human in her own image(Father and Jesus) The trial and death sentence of Furina (Jesus' crucifixion). The god questioned of their legitimacy and miracle. People realizing they prosecuted their savior Furina (people realizing the crucified the Son of God). God sacrifice to wash away the people's sins. Neuvillete's came to power (The Resurrection)

Waaaah, I really like that it's just the story and no commentary because I can show it to my sister but I'm bummed they didn't talk to the characters after the scene. I was really excited to show my sister Clorinde and Navia's conversation after Charlotte's interview but they immediately went straight to the Fortress of Meropide without talking to the two (three including the Fatui but he's a third wheel) 😭😭😭
