What set apart the Reo Bros.and Franz Rthym is the place. Reo Bros. are blessed that they live in the city with music schools and many vocal coaches available, and venues to perform, availability of equiptments and most of all they have the money to spend in other words they are well off. And what was amazing with the Franz and Rhytm is they lived in a very remote place in the Province of Bohol in the hinterlands of the town of Sevilla, literaly the last barangay going to the next town of Balilihan. The family started with borrowed instruments and climbing a mountain just to have a telco signal to upload their videos. and their only musical coach is the father who is a band member who was out of job during the pandemic. They purely produced those music without so much technology, no sound processing just pure music from those instruments and pure vocalization which is extremely hard when playing live and without studio enhancements. And that separates them from other family bands around the world maybe.

Undeniably true, they are one of the greatest ever in the Philippines because all of them can do lead vocals and harmonies, they are versatile and great instrument players, they do great arrangements for their cover songs, and to top it all, they are doing good original compositions. This particular composition of Char is magnificent, i can't hold back my tears everytime I watch it. The melody, the lyrics not to mention the angelic voice but the whole package of this musical piece is so captivating, soothing and totally amazing. Great song! I like the lyrics - very creative - needs some tweaking though in some passages but I think I follow what the lines want to convey.

I agree with your thoughts about FranzRhythm being one of the greatest family bands in the Philippines. If you also toss in criteria on who does the production, musical direction and video editing of their performances (home-grown) then you truly have one of the most talented musical families. It's also notable that a lot of rising stars from the Philippines started out not having any formal musical training yet they shine brightly just through constant practice and love of music.

The Philippines is a very musical country. Not all are good singers but there sure are a lot of good singers. Good or bad, Filipinos are not shy to step up to the mic and belt out a tune, albeit, for fun or having a good laugh.
