I just want to say thank you for your enthusiasm and positivity towards all of the plants, especially seeing how pretty they are regardless of imperfections 😊I work in one of these stores (not these locations) and I see so much criticism and negativity over little things that it is hard to watch plant influencer videos sometimes knowing what it's like to be on the other side of that negativity

Polynesian ivy requires indirect light with good daytime shading. Doesn't like to be over watered. If not enough humidity it will drop its leaves. I've had one for several years. This winter I moved it indoors and much to my surprise it hasn't dropped a leaf!

Plumosa fern is not a fern at all. It is an Asparagus Plumosa, related to the Asparagus Officinalis whose new sprouts we eat, Sprengeri, Retrofractus, Densiflorus, Asparagoides, ETC. Plumosa and asparagoides are vines, the others bushy. All of them form tubers on the roots. Don't plant one in a cherished pot. They easily burst pots when thriving.
So odd to me that they include it in fern selections because it's culture is different than typical ferns. It grows outside in very hot conditions like So. California. I think it goes dormant in extreme heat but sprouts anew when it rains. Plumosa has wicked thorns, be careful. All varieties bloom pretty tiny white flowers in right conditions.
Pretty Asparagoides, (my fave), is a BAD invasive weed in warm parts of the world, especially New Zealand, and can choke out forests. It is used as florist's greenery called Bridal Vine.

I always get excited about plants again when I watch your video's. Your enthusiasm is infectious 😄 Loving your Hoya and the Mistletoe Rhipsalis at Lowes especially 💖🪷💖

lol @ the blue waffle reference. Despite loving Alocasia and having 60+ varieties, I do agree with a lot of these. I always say the Shangri La looks like wet spinach.

Loved it, but I must have missed something. What are you doing up in Grand Rapids? I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, but live down by Charlotte now, and thought you did I'm so confused. 😂🪴

Ashley, Just an FYI, I repotted my Hoya as it had a sponge type substance around the roots.

That big rhipsalis is so worthy of a gorgeous hanging planter. So cool

I love your videos- would it be possible for you to film one showing your current plant collection? It must be fabulous!

That plant is dracaena white aspen. The color and texture of their leaves resemble the peeling barks of white aspen trees.

New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa 😊 i finally got my monsteira deliciosa, on sale $15 i bought it home, replanted it put it in the plant stand, then. I noticed the spots front side yellow, back side dark substance that wiped off like a smudge, i thought i lost my reciet, so i just mixed water dawn and a little vinegar, and wiped down all the leafs 🍃 i cut off the most spotted ones, did the wiping down, a few more x, and cut off more leafs, i found my reciet, going tomorrow, oh i got it at Lowe's, i never had a plant with issues

I love your Hoya🥰, I want one for my collection so bad! I live in Canada and hope to find one this spring. I recently bought a peperomia with heart leaves, it. Wasn’t labeled so I google lensed it and that was the result. I’m new to your channel and it’s so great. Thanks for a great video. 😍

I have just found your channel, and have been loving your videos, especially the Grand Rapids shopping! I am in MI not too far from there. I went today to the 28th street Lowe’s hoping to find a Hoya Crimson Princess, but couldn’t find any😭 I did how ever go the the 2nd Lowe’s in your video, and came home with one of the Twister Lipstick plants! Thanks so much for sharing your plant shopping experiences!

Nice tours Ashley! I love my smaller Polynesian Ivy; a very chill & easy fast grower.. I just got a beautiful potted Alocasia from Wal-mart for 18! 💚🌿

I had a Hoya that was just barely hanging on to life and I bought it in 2020 during the lockdown. Last summer I put it outside (Chicago) but it was in a shelf that I made with wooden crate so it was only getting filtered light and it actually perked up and is doing quite well now, in doors for the winter.

I saw that shingling plant at Walmart the past couple of years. I think they call it a zipper plant, looks really cute. Maybe I’ll grab one!
