PES 2017 vs. PES 2018 on PC – Graphics Comparison

The PC version of PES always has been a little bit behind: the visuals were a mix of last-gen and current-gen, the content wasn't the same as on the consoles. Finally, this year changes a lot on PC. Our graphics comparison of PES 2017 vs. PES 2018 shows the visual changes.

Die PC-Version von Pro Evolution Soccer hat sich in der Vergangenheit nicht gerade mit Ruhm bekleckert, zumindest wenn es um die Technik geht. Die Grafik war bis 2017 eine Mischung aus Last-Gen und Current-Gen, auch bei den Inhalten war die PC-Version beschnitten. Mit PES 2018 ändert sich das, im Video zeigen wir die optischen Änderungen im Detail.

Finally!! The PC version of PES 2018 is a leap compared to PES 2017. In terms of content and graphics. It was about time, really.

I don't know this game too well, but I do see an improvement in the quality of how people and players look, but the grass in the new one makes it seem a bit plain, the 2017 side seems a lot more realistic.

The ground texture has too much saturation in PES 2018. Also isn't PES 2017 a port from old gen consoles making the resolution 720p or is it scalable? I find it very detailed on a 4k screen.

Stadium, fans and players looks better in 2018, but grass in 2018 look like from cartoon.

I remember as if it were yesterday to finally try the NEXT GEN version of that time, I played on PC and konami took years to release that version on PC

2015's MGSV (sequel to PS exclusive Peace Walker/4) and Bloodborne. 2016's highest rated and best looking game of all time Uncharted 4 with best facial animations and no loading screens. 2017's 2nd highest rated game Persona 5 (sequel to 2012's highest rated game), Ratchet & Clank, Nioh, Horizon, NieR Automata (sequel to NieR), Wipeout, Yakuza 0 and probably more games with 85+ on metacritic. Crash Bandicoot and Gravity Rush 2 are pretty fun too. Then upcoming games like Ni No Kuni 2, Yakuza 6, Kingdom Hearts 3, FF7 Remake, Spiderman, Last of Us 2, God of War, Death Stranding and even more announcements at Paris Games Week & PSX. New FromSoftware IP, new SuckerPunch IP etc.

Graphic is better, especially the stadium and fans. I see differences in players too. And it's good but I don't like this brighter moments. I have to play by myself to rate the gameplay and optimization ;)

pes 18 have better ghraphicks but pes 17 is mutch better
