Amazon's return-to-office policy begins

Amazon's new policy forces corporate employees to return to the office for at least three days a week

Even when you’re in the office you’re mostly working remotely. Everything is about IM, MS Tesms, emails, software, VOP even when they are physically there.

I would not want to be the department head whose job is to track who is compliant with the 3 days per week, thus making them a corporate babysitter. Further, it's starting as 3 days for now, but we all know it'll be back to employers mandating 5 days soon. Personally, I'd just give my notice rather than complain about it.

Unfortunately the employer has the upper hand on this one. Don’t want to come in the office, probably best to look for work elsewhere. Remote work today is available but the pay sucks, so something to take into consideration.

The complaints from office workers having to go back 3x/week, particularly when other Amazon employees haven’t had that luxury at all comes off incredibly tone-deaf.

Not everyone had the luxury to work from home in the first place.
