BloodRayne: Betrayal - 'Cursed Dawn' - OFFICIAL End Credits Song

Hey guys, this is Jessie! Lending my voice to a kickass, redheaded, half-vampire killing machine for BloodRayne: Betrayal was awesome! And it only got better when I found out I'd be singing the end credits song!
Jake Kaufman is an absolute beast of a composer and musician, and this was his first time working with a real live vocalist for a video game track. I told him to use me like all the other instruments in his arsenal of sound, and man did he hand me a neo-classical metal challenge! The sound studio we recorded in totally set the mood... Laying down "Cursed Dawn" in a dimly lit, reddish-toned room complete with a black grand piano and lots of candles definitely put me in a Rayne state of mind! All in all, an incredibly cool musical experience!

I may not actually be a vivacious, vampiric vixen but when I front our new rock band Red Addiction I sure feel like one!

This is such an awesome game. The soundtrack is absolutely mind blowing, and the NES soundtrack? Holy crap it's awesome! I've been listening to this soundtrack in my car the last few days and I had to look it up. The vocals on this end credits song are just gorgeous. Bring a tear to my eye, man. Such a wonderful product in every way. I hope WayForward and everyone can get together again for a sequel.

If anyone still looks at this you say the beauty of Rayne's voice. Are u talking about previous games? I don't remember rayne talking at all in blood rayne betrayal, maybe my mind was just lost in the action

An enjoyable song. Like others though, I cannot seem to be able to locate the lyrics. Edit: After listening to it many times this is what I've got, though some parts are harder to decipher than others.

I liked you in a bunch of different tracks from several different games (such as this, and Double Dragon's "Mango Tango") long before I even made the connection that they were all you. 
Great work. Jake Kaufman is _ridiculous_, and you guys make a good team. As good of a team as Supergiant's Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett.

I've beaten your game an insane amount of time... just to show my friends how epic it is... and praising the beauty of Rayne's voice countless amount of times... This game is a masterpiece. I've already wrote a letter to Way Foward just to tell them how much I love the game, and I still play it to this day.. Great.. no fantastic! fantastic job! The voice of Rayne could have NOT been better. It is flawless, and this game is a gift to hardcore gamers. I often beat the game to hear your singing...

Writing a letter to Way Forward is an awesome idea! I enjoyed the shit out of this game too. My most well spent 800 MS points! When I get the secret achievement "8 finger, 8 bits" it brought a manly tear to my eye! One of the coolest ideas for a secret ever!
For what I saw, Way Forward is really into satsfying the need of a real challenge hardcore gamers. Contra 4 for the DS was also a punishing game! :D

Think about the following: THAT Many years later I STILL remember my experience, I STILL remember Jessie Seely and her name from the credits, I still remember her voice by my side for EVERY grunt, moan, kills and deaths, I still remember the amazing experience that was finishing and have her serenade my during the credits. I Still remember everything and go back to it All those years later. This game is WayForward's fucking masterpiece.

This wasn’t a really bad game, it was just difficult.
But gamers these days can’t enjoy anything anymore that’s hard.
After just a few deaths (*cough* make that alot of deaths *cough*) I finally cleared the escape level.
Then heard this song. I was surprised since the game didn’t have voice acting, and just grunts so it was amazing.

Jessie Seely and Jake Kaufman are one of the best musical combos from America. This and their Double Dragon Neon song are amazing! Will they be able to rise above the utter GARBAGE that is American pop music? Well, I sure hope so :)
