Republican Congressman Accidentally Burns Trump With Hilarious Freudian Slip
Показать описание
Republican representative Andy Ogles found himself going viral last week after he accidentally referred to Donald Trump as Donald CHUMP while speaking on the House floor. Ogles quickly corrected himself, but the damage was done and the clip was already halfway around the world at that point. But this story actually should be used to remind the world that Ogles is more than a buffoon who can't speak - he's also a liar who embellished his record like George Santos in order to win office. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins reminds everyone of Ogles' problems.

Republican representative Andy Ogles, had a bit of a slip of the tongue last week when, well, I won't even tell you what he said. I will let him tell you. So here he is, Republican representative Andy Ogles from Tennessee. Take a look.
April 15th, 2019, under the leadership of President Trump. Trump is,
Well, if that isn't the Freudian slip of the ages, then folks, I don't know what is President Trump. I mean, honestly, let's be real here. That really is the best description of Donald Trump is President Chump. So I applaud Andy Ogles for his hilarious Freudian slip that, by the way, as we all saw, uh, went absolutely viral across social media because most people in this country believe that, yeah, that's pretty much what he is. President Chump. Now, is this worthy of doing a full segment on absolutely not, right? Like, I couldn't do multiple minutes about Andy Ogle just saying, president Trump, I could laugh. I could, uh, and then it's over. So the reason I'm even talking about this today is not because he called him President Chump, it's because it reminds us that Andy Ogles is a guy who pretty much all year has escaped any kind of scrutiny for lies during his campaign that effectively rivaled George Santos.
I mean, I'm not accusing Andy Ogles in any way of engaging in the kind of behavior that Santos has been charged with, right? I don't think we have the fraud and the embezzlement kind of stuff with Ogles that we do with Santos, allegedly. But Ogles definitely lied to constituents in order to get in office in the first place. And so whenever he has a slip up and says, president Trump, I think that's a beautiful time to remind people of things like this. Nashville's, W T V F T V found that Ogles has a background filled with exaggeration, such as his claims on his congressional website, that he's an economist and studied policy and economics. There is little evidence to back up such a claim according to the TV station and his alma mater, middle Tennessee State University declined to confirm the nature of his degree From there, a look back at Ogle website over two decades ago shows a claim that he studied foreign policy in the Constitution at Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
Western Kentucky told W T V F that Ogles majored in English and Allied Language Arts in the nineties. So he says he, he's an economist, and the college is like, dude, you're an English major, like English. We're not, we're not dealing with numbers and, you know, microeconomics, macroeconomics, you know, financial accounting and all that stuff that you get, you know, when you do an economics degree, I know because that was my initial major when I entered college. Um, but that's not it. That's not all he lied about. Ogles also claimed he had a role as an executive director for author and economist, Arthur Laffer, supply Side Economic Center. However, Laffer told insider that Ogles primarily worked in fundraising. The Republican also said he was a former member of law enforcement. Uh, Ogles, however, was a volunteer reserve sheriff's deputy in the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, and lost the role after two years quote for not meeting minimum standards, making no progress in field training and failure to attend required meetings.
