so excited to see where this goes, I got this camera when it was on that ridiculous sale last year and have already shot a feature and so many videography gigs with it, getting so much value and super pumped to have it be able to take on more of an all-rounder role in my kit!

Seems like face tracking could also be useful for talking head/sit-down interviews where the face is largely going to be stationary. I think it will be helpful for those slight movements that could take the subject slightly out of focus (swaying, leaning forward/backward in their seat).

BM should allocate more resources to improve the AF. It will surely increase their cam sales by quite a bit.

Please try with faster apertures than f/7 and f/5.6. Something in the f/2.8 - f/1.8 range.

That single shot AF would be the most useful if we are able to immediately manually focus the lens through a wired handgrip. This is great for documentaries and weddings so that we can quickly get to the starting point of the focus pull.

Just to tap as select if fine for me. Tracking is fine for controlled spaces. I just got my Pyxis and await. I'm still reading the manual. I have the Pocket 4K and it seems an easy learning curve for me.

When this happened to me (4:13) i'd just "reset" the focus by switching off and then back on the face tracking
