I'm a girl who is pretty freaking strong and I'd say intermediate in the gym after 2+ years and even I know a skinny boy training for 3-6 months could smoke all my lifts 😔

I thought zyzz mindset was to workout and not worry about anyone else or what they lift cause “we are all gonna make it” But from the clips and comments i see dudes ragging on woman for being weaker than them which is a given we are stronger naturally or indirectly putting others guys down cause “i could dead 3 plates in my first month of training”. Lets do better cause we really are all gonna make it

Majority of my injuries have been from ego lifting with deadlifts. I no longer deadlift or try to max out anymore and couldn’t be happier being injury free

Honestly I stopped lifting weights, but what I did start to do heavily was a start doing calisthenics. Being of a bulky build at 6’0/240lbs, it honestly makes me work more than simply lifting heavier. I take great technique and control into account and I am happy with this decision tbh since my lower back stopped hurting and knee problems have damn near disappeared

I think it’s so narcissistic to think this way. Like it matters whether which gender lifts the most weight, the gym is used for all kinds of training ; bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting, etc. I think if more people were just friendlier and more supporting, there wouldn’t be any issues and gyms would greatly benefit.
