This is one of the best videos when it comes to conveying what Lane Stadium is like.

Virginia Tech may not have the biggest or absolute loudest stadium but the fans actually understand the game and know when to use crowd noise tactically. Seeing teams have to burn timeouts and not be able to use snap counts due to crowd noise is a huge advantage. Watching 70 year olds bouncing to Enter Sandman and screaming through an entire 2 minute TV timeout truly is something special.

Last year for the first time, my son and I attended the game at Lane Stadium vs Marshall, and even through the rain that place was rocking. One thing to see it on tv, another thing to be in the midst of it, especially in the southeast corner of the end zone where the Hokies come out. The 66, 000 in Lane Stadium was louder than the 92, 000 at Fed Ex Field in Landover, MD. for a Redskins game which I took my son to the following day. Major props to the Blacksburg community for showing both my son and I a great time. We WILL be back!!! Exit Light, Enter Night, Enter Hokies!!!!

the tape does nothing for it, when the first note hits the PA its like a nuke detonated at midfield, every tree in Virginia shakes to its roots, the tide reverses at Va beach, and the mountains of the Blue Ridge rumble from the echo, people in Charlottesville replace the glass in their westward facing windows, and the visiting team looks at each other and wonders "what's coach got us into?"

Thank you for putting the Wayne Ward hit in there. I was at that game we we lost it when he left his feet. We didn't even knew we scored a touchdown until moments later, we were still watching the guy get up from hit.

I've visited Tech multiple times and every single time I go to Lane stadium I am pumped, especially for night games. You really don't know how awesome this entrance is until you've been to a game. It still amazes me every time! I'm looking forward to seeing the rematch against Ohio State, Lane will probably be the craziest it's ever been. I can't wait!!! Start jumping!!! Go Hokies!!!

I attended my first VT game yesterday. As an Auburn grad and huge SEC fan I have to say that VT's walk-out is the best one I've experienced. The energy of that stadium was incredible. Nice job VT.
