This really unfolds because of one reason and one reason only.. Remember the conversation Diana Dubois and Cookie had where Diana made Cookie relate to her a little bit?
All that was BS because that Miss Dubois can't stand that she and Cookie are from the hood, but Cookie has been bout that life and has a career and has a loving family (with the necessary and unnecessary struggles) while Miss Dubois has to fake EVERYTHING just so that she has control overall in her life. It's jealousy from Miss Dubois towards Cookie.

This is a good lesson from the writers: don't judge.

Angelo DuBois dies in the finale... think about it, just about every well known actor or actress that plays on this show either gets killed off or disappears....Nia Long:dead, Malik Yoba:dead... Angelo is very expendable in this situation. The writers will be depending on no one to see it coming.

The Pamela twist was practically stolen out of Fight Club (Brad Pitt's Tyler Durden' character), but damn it was pretty sick in its execution for Empire there with Andre's character meltdown in episode 8! Cos we didn't see it coming except for a few clues in previous episodes given the flashbacks clips when the twist itself was finally revealed!
