I always thought that Dawn should have never left the group. As BIG as En Vogue were back in the 90’s, they still didn’t get their “just do” like Destiny Child would eventually get. What I’m trying to say is that she leaving and later Maxine, only hurt themselves individually. Fortunately Rhona joined Terry and Cindy, and they really seem to click plus make great music 🎶. Didn’t she just confirm that she gave up her rights to the name of the group at the end of the 90s...that’s 20 years ago. You can’t ask for revenue for something as ephemeral as image or “legacy” and you certainly can’t sue the current iteration of the group for something you voluntarily surrendered.

Dawn left because of the bogus contract. They were broke as hell and 2 member had relationships with millionaires while the other two struggled. Dawn tried to speak up about the lack of money they were getting but it fell on deaf ears.

En Vogue is Cindy, Terry and Rhona now. They have kept the train going and they are putting in the work now. Dawn has not been a part of En Vogue since the 90s other than a small reunion. She seems difficult to work with and not a team player.

So many people are so quick to down Dawn, but I can see where she's coming from, even tho she not apart of the group, she was an original and she started the legacy, so if lifetime gonna do a movie about Envogue story, unless they start the movie from after Dawn Robinson she most definitely needs to get paid, like she said she want nothing to do with the movie, but if her image gonna be portrayed on film then she should be paid, point blank... Doing blindsided bullshit like this is the reason why Florence Ballard died at a young age... Oh and I'm a Envogue fan up until after EV3 after Maxine left I was done... First of all i do NOT like TMZ, they thrive on negativity but at the end of the day Dawn you’re no longer a part of the group (whether or not i like it) so you need to just live your life! You made a choice to leave the group, this was not a bio pic anyhow lol, if you left the group how are you entitled to some revenue?! And that all depends on the contracts the ladies sign am i right?
