Man she's lucky to have a dad that builds computers, back in the day when I was 5 I had a Windows XP that runs games at 10-20 fps on Counter Strike Source, but today I saved up for a nice build and actually got it.

Just wanted to say thank you for doing this! There were a couple times growing up that my dad built computers for the family to use and while my brother got to participate, I was cold-shouldered out of the process because it was a "boys only" thing. Even though I had the same interest as my brother and had used and played games on pc since I was 4, expressing any deeper interest was not allowed. And that hurt. I'm almost 30 and it still makes me sad to think about.

Yeah, she's mostly just along for the ride and doesn't have the technical understanding to know what she's really doing, but it matters that she is involved. It really really really matters. Thank you.

All this hate from the people saying a 5 year old should not own a PC... so ignorant. This girl is building a pc so she actually knows the basics of how a computer works. Give a child an ipad or smartphone and they will have no idea what a computer really is, they will only know how to install apps on daddys creditcard. Computers are everywhere and the sooner you know what a computer is and how it's components work, the sooner you will understand why everything in society is completely dependent on computers nowadays. Just because she has a pc doesn't mean she can't go outside anymore..
