This is an album where I wish I didn’t know who it was directed by. I get Kamikaze by Eminem flashbacks a lot at its most clunky moments (aside from Attention which is still basically flawless) and a wish that I didn’t know who the man was during the R&B tracks

I'm only a casual Doja Cat listener, but I'm tired of her and some critics calling her old music sellout garbage or something like that. Maybe it is, but at least it's good and fun selling out. I enjoy "Say So" and "Kiss Me More" way more than "Attention" and "Paint the Town Red" (I like that song's hook, but the verses don't do anything for me). I don't know, it rubs me the wrong way when artists talk crap about their pop stuff, like Demi Lovato (I like her rock stuff, but I got into her through songs like "Give Your Heart a Break" and "Heart Attack").

i really like paint the town red and the streak of go off to skull and bones, but this is certainly not an album im going to revisit all that much.

Yeah I didn't feel this one sadly. Doja has made some of my favorite music this decade but man outside the singles there's not much here. The moments on here that are good are some of the best in her career. Attention is still great, Agora Hills sounds literally perfect, and Paint The Town Red is super catchy. There's some fine deep cuts here but most of them felt like nothing.

I didn’t like skull and bones because she contradicts herself with the Satan thing and she also says God gives her hits even tho she earlier said she doesn’t need hits.
