Climate smart agriculture increases productivity, make farming more climate resilient, reduces greenhouse gas emissions
and reduces poverty. Norway has supported Zambian Conservation Farming Unit (CFU) for years. CFU teaches farmers to be innovative, and farmers who have received proper training, continue to use the method.

We are lucky in West Africa. Most of our souls are still virgin soil or not been farmed for thousands of years. We have enough rain fall and most people don’t farm anymore. This conservative farming techniques is a game changer for even very fertile soils like we have in West Africa. West African soils can feed the world just like the whole of Africa’s can if our leaders adopt farming practices suitable to our primordial continent without polluting the land with chemicals as i’s being done in the West. I like this video. 👌🏽

If we can implement this type of farming we can get greater yields and we can protect our land from climate change.
